Even in a little thing  The rain is very wet. This is why I'm indoors looking at the history of ice-cream rather than outdoors collecting my review parcel. I will have a whole new chapter on US ice-cream to teach my food history class, thanks to the combined enthusiasm of Kate and Tamara. Tamara has just found me some lovely articles and an interesting piece of legislation. I might have to blog on it in my other blog, later today. Now, alas, I have to take a break from ice-cream and investigate stuffed foods and croquettes for a moment or two. Then I can get on with other work. It takes about an hour to get to the post office delivery centre and back (forty minutes if I hurry), so I still have a half hour gain in my afternoon. Maybe I should just sit and watch the rain? |
