Fact that may or may not change your whole existence: the medlar liqueur was nice enough for people to come back for seconds and thirds. One of my friends raided the bottle when the little jug was empty, too.

Other fact that may or may not change your whole existence: I rather suspect I shall be making more when medlars are in season (which is soon).

Irrelevancy: we used my 1989 Purim story last night. Laughing at 1989 politics is like laughing at shoulder pads.

PS--I'm Catholic and know that there's gotta be a good Easter vampire story out there.

We had a glass of wine for Purim, thereby starting a new family tradition. As an aethist, I fully believe in celebrating EVERYONE's religious traditions. That way no one feels left out.

Why only one glass of wine each? Because that was all that we had in the bottle, and besides I fell asleep after drinking it....

I *like* shoulder pads. And old stories:-) I expect I'd like medlar liqueur, too given a chance.

Swancon goes well. Wish you were here:-)
