Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Most of my friends didn't go to the Folk festival this year, so I was expecting just to spend a quiet day with the Kitten. She was very understanding when I kept running into friends and more friends and more friends. Four from my childhood and all the others a bit more recent. It turned out that only the international dancers were absent. The morris dancers were there and so were the Colonial and so were the musicians. I do wonder what it would have been like if I knew lots of people...

I'm still dwelling on the fact that friends are everywhere. And I'm still sorry we had to leave early and didn't get to see the Velas properly. My mind is a little more together than it was first thing this morning, at least. I don't know what anyone made of that post, but it was a clear example of how weather changes can muddle my brain. Outside now is cool but sunny - the beautiful autumn weather has finally arrived!

We went to the festival this morning and left when the rain started around 12.30. We saw some of the morris dancing. DD was fascinated with them and the Bordonian Dancers also. Had a nice time. I would have liked to spend more time there but I'm also aware of my back problems and the amount of pain I was in.

it's not an easy place to be with pain, but it's so much fun. I'm glad you got your half-day!
